Executive Vice President of Marketing, Research and Analytics, Condé Nast
Stephanie Fried is the executive vice president of marketing, research and analytics at Condé Nast. In this role, she oversees Condé Nast’s strategy for research, insight and audience development across all U.S. titles, in addition to SEO and social media.
Her team touches many parts of the company, driving editorial strategy and audience growth through in-depth analytics and testing, finding ways to reach new audiences, uncovering new brand opportunities through custom research and analysis, and conducting thought leadership studies and breakthroughs in innovative ad measurement.
Fried, who also acts as co-chair of the IAB Research Council, joined Condé Nast in 2016 from Discovery Communications were she was vice president, digital insights and marketing, and oversaw all research and marketing functions across the digital organization. Prior to Discovery Communications, Fried served as vice president, research insights and analytics at VEVO. She has also held senior positions at NBCUniversal and BuzzBack Market Research, an online consumer market research firm.
She has a BA with honors from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
