How do you see the world in 5 years?
More and more services will be offered online, will be automated and delivered by a third party that have not built or invented that service. The process of changing business models will progress faster and faster e.g. electric cars vs fuel driven cars. Also sharing and paying for services instead of owning things e.g. a car will be the new customer approach, so the service itself is the differentiator. And everyone will be more and more aware that change is the current state and the time to stay in a comfort zone will decrease.
How much “digital” is there in your daily life?
Digital is everywhere and everytime in my life. A tracker tells me in the morning how was my sleep and and how is my readiness for the day. My vacuum cleaner has a digital motor. Classic conversations and services were replaced with e.g. Slack chats, video streaming and investing in bitcoins.
Is “digital” a threat or an opportunity? Why?
Digital for me is an opportunity, because opportunities will make you creative and threats will paralyze you. Quite equal how you will see digital, digital is always a challenge. And you can use this challenge to progress your business and personal life or the digital challenge will take control and maybe blow you away.
Where does the digital transformation for a company begin?
Digital transformation often starts with a brand new idea or demand for a service, or a disruption approaching companies that they never thought of, like small fintechs grapping customers and revenue from big banks.
What do you plan to transform at DigitalK Conference 2019?
The plan is to transform the mindset of business leaders and executives to be open for the „new ways of working“ and even more to take leadership for that initiative.
